Eating - MM106 - Malus domestica - Middle season eating apple, dating back to 1904, & raised by Rev. Ellison of Bracebridge at Hartsholme Hall, in Lincolnshire. Rev. Ellison was a renowned fruit grower, with over 1500 fruit trees, early in the 20th century. Crisp, juicy fruit with a rich, almost aniseed, flavour. A cross between Cox's Orange Pippin & Calville Blanche D'Hiver. Good crops, Trees fruit when quite young. Mid/Late Season, Partially self-fertile, RHS AGM 1993, Priced for 1 yr Maiden
