Cucurbita pepo, Traditional, striped variety, Bush type, Compact well suited to the small garden, A very showy traditional, striped variety, early to mature, compact & heavy yielding. The attractive Mid-sized striped pale yellow & dark green fruits can be cut at 10-15cm (4-6in) as courgettes or left to mature as marrows. Excellent eaten lightly cooked, freshly picked or suitable for autumn storage. This is the true traditional Marrow, having all the attributes of Green Trailing, but with a bush habit for more limited space., Seed Count Approx - 15 avg 

  SOWING - In May or June sow insitu where intended to grow & single to the strongest seedling, allowing approx. 90cm (3 ft) distance apart. Can also be sown in April & early May under glass for transplanting out, Plants are more productive if fruits are cut often.
